Thanks for Julie and Nancy for hosting our 2011 December gathering. We had a biggest gathering ever with thirty-three people presented in total . It was a great and joyful night.




A great night! The members were fulfilled with the feeling of accomplishment on the design of our poster and invitation letter for 2012 Interfaith Celebration. Plus, the the always delicious food and the fabulous pretension from Ven. Jue Wei and Nancy Cowardin on the Buddha's Birthday Celebration in about 1500 years ago...

We got invitation letter for 2012 Interfaith Celebration done.

And, we had best food ever!








Hsilai Friends July meeting was held on 16th at Jenny Tang's house.

We had a special guest for this month's gathering. Dr. Adam Hy gave us a talk on Alzheimer's Disease. As usual, there was a potluck dinner after meeting.




Hsilai Friends participated  Humanistic Buddhism Workshop offered by monastics from Hsilai Temple on June 12 2011. The event was held at University of the West with a theme of environmental and spiritual preservation.



Hsilai Friend has its June 4th meeting in the beautiful and lovely Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden @ Arcadia.





The 2010 Interfaith Dialogue conference organized by Hsilai Friends and BudaWest (University of the West Buddhist Association) was a success!  See the Interfaith Conference page for details and photos.
